Jeepers Keepers attended the 4th annual i.CARE Trash Derby in the Florida Keys and just like 2025, it was so much fun! We met up with our favorite park ranger, Ranger John, and tackled the trash in Long Key State Park -- our favorite park in the Keys! -- and Curry Hammock State Park. Just like last year, we worked with Ranger John and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to clean up these 2 parks.

In Long Key State Park, we combed and climbed through the Golden Orb Trail and we meandered through the sargassum on the coastal side, removing bottles, trash bags, shoes, even an aptly-lost cheeseburger mylar balloon. Jimmy Buffett would be both mad and proud at the same time.

Over in Curry Hammock State Park, we traversed the Overseas Heritage Trail to remove any trash and debris hikers and cyclists may encounter. Amongst the trash and hundreds of beer cans and broken bottles, we even managed to find a secret meeting spot.

I had no idea this trail was such a hotspot for Big Foot! I figured this would have been Swamp Ape territory!
