February 2026 KIC! wrap-up

Jeepers Keepers' first clean-up event of 2026 is in the books! 

For 2026, our flagship park will be Ocean Inlet Park in Boynton Beach, Florida! This is a beautiful park with a huge inlet, plenty of parking, lots of fishing, and a beautiful ocean view. 🌊🌴

On Sunday, 8 Feb, we were joined by 5 volunteers, who managed to remove approximately 23lbs of microplastics, cigarette butts, and other lightweight trash and debris. One volunteer managed to remove over 1lb of cigarette butts from a small area of the park, it was HUNDREDS of butts! 🤮 We're very excited to come back in March, there's just SO much to clean up between the inlet and the picnic areas of the park.
